In the early 1980s, Dutch Passion decided to carry out an extensive project to reproduce Skunk strains. One fast-flowering Skunk quickly stood out from hundreds of other varieties. It flowers quickly, for 8 weeks, developed ultra-compact buds, as well as the aroma and taste of freshly-picked ripe oranges. Once stabilised, it became the now legendary Orange Bud, which has won the Cannabis Cup several times. It's a tried-and-tested strain that has been used in the breeding of many other top-quality, award-winning varieties.

This is a predominantly Sativa strain which, since its beginnings, has surprised and amazed even the most difficult and demanding growers.

It is also renowned for being one of the cornerstones of the legal cannabis scene. This Sativa variety is rich in CBD, making it particularly popular with those who prefer to enjoy the effects of this cannabinoid.
